LONDON, England -- A gambler who bet £900,000 on a No outcome in Scotland's referendum won £193,333, The Guardian reported.The unnamed gambler, described as a businessman and former City trader said he made his decision based on rational and opinion polls, the report said.
The man said he had 30 years of experience working as a market analyst and that he'd placed his bet to support the Better Together campaign through the publicity the bet would bring, The Guardian reported.
