Danish court takes $28K online winnings

COPENHAGEN, Denmark -- As reported by United Press International: "Denmark's Supreme Court ruled a man who earned nearly $28,000 playing online poker in a single year violated laws against professional gambling.
"The court said in its ruling Wednesday the man violated the laws by using his poker winnings as his sole source of income and ordered him to surrender the money, the Copenhagen Post reported Wednesday.
"The Supreme Court said the online poker games are subject to Danish law, despite being hosted on servers outside of the country, because the computer used to play the games was located inside of Denmark..."
