CVC eyeing Betfair

ENGLAND -- A company who own Formula One racing may make a takeover bid on Betfair, The Guardian is reporting.

CVC Capital Partners is pondering a joint offer along with another Betfair investor, the report said.

All that has been confirmed so far though are preliminary discussions, The Guardian reported.
