The court heard a recording of the agent, who is alleged to have arranged the fixing, tell a journalist that match-fixing had been "going on for centuries", the report said.
The court heard the agent describe in the recording how the alleged fixing process worked, with money given up front to players and how the players could manipulate what's known in betting as the "brackets system" by bowling dead balls, The Guardian report explained.
