17 Nov 2003
LAS VEGAS – (Press Release) -- Station Casinos (NYSE: STN) announced today that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit affirmed the dismissal of all claims by the cities of Roseville and Rocklin, California and reaffirmed Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton's decision to place lands in to trust for the United Auburn Indian Community for the purpose of gaming.
In its ruling, the Court of Appeals upheld the determination of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia that the United Auburn Indian Community's land qualifies as "restored lands" under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act and, therefore, may be used for gaming.
