MASSACHUSETTS -- A pair of seniors managed to crack a secret code to a lottery game which has sent the Massachusetts Lottery into limiting sales, according to the Post Standard.The couple allegedly bought $307,000 worth of tickets over 3 days and won millions, the report said.
The trick was based on timing and now to avoid this, a new rule has been introduced that limits the amount of lottery tickets one store can sell in a single day, the Post Standard reported.
