Co-policymaker of online provider dismissed after proposed Ksa designation

Licensed gambling providers must inform the Ksa of changes in the board or of other persons who help determine the company's policy. Following such a change, the integrity of a new co-policymaker is assessed. This involves looking at antecedents, such as (previous) positions with companies that offer illegal gambling or other relevant violations or criminal activities.
The Ksa emphasizes that it is the responsibility of the provider to sufficiently investigate the integrity of new directors and co-policymakers. If the Ksa investigation shows that the reliability of a director is not beyond doubt, the Ksa will take enforcement action.
