Circa Sports hosting an 'Ultimate Content Weekend'

(PRESS RELEASE) -- As Circa Sports’ professional football competitions Circa Million V and Circa Survivor are underway with a history-making prize pool of $14 million, no rake, the Las Vegas-based sports betting brand has announced its annual “Ultimate Contest Weekend.”

Taking place 24-26 August, entrants of the 2023/2024 contests can live it up at downtown Las Vegas hotspots Circa Resort & Casino and The D Las Vegas with a series of exclusive events, room offerings, open bars and more.

The weekend’s itinerary will consist of the following events:

• Thursday, 24 August: Kick off Ultimate Contest Weekend with a pop-up radio row in Circa’s Galaxy Ballroom from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., where broadcast outlets will report live predictions for the upcoming pro football games. Additionally, a welcome reception with an open bar will take place at The D’s BarCanada from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., including meet & greet with Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens; Mike Palm, vice president of operations for Circa, The D and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino; and various Circa Million and Circa Survivor winners from years’ past.


• Friday, 25 August: Spend the day at Stadium Swim, Circa’s year-round pool amphitheater. Guests can get their drink on with an open bar from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and mingle with media personalities while they are not broadcasting from the pop-up radio row in the Galaxy Ballroom.



• Saturday, 26 August: Attend the fourth annual “Circa Football Preview,” hosted by Mike Palm located in Circa’s Galaxy Ballroom on the third floor from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. This panel will feature sports betting experts and personalities to provide insight into the upcoming 2023-2024 pro football season, the contests and more. The event is free and open to the public. More details on panelist members will be released in the coming weeks.

Proxy services will be made available at each event.

Participants who enter the contests also will be offered a range of discounted or complimentary stays at either Circa, The D or Golden Gate Hotel & Casino. A specific amount of entries within Circa Million V and Circa Survivor will allow entrants one of the following stays:

• Full House of entries: A full house of entries consists of five $1,000 entries in Circa Million V and 10 $1,000 entries in Circa Survivor. This will include a complimentary three-night hotel stay at Circa with an option to upgrade to a suite at no additional cost Sunday through Thursday.


• 10 to 14 total entries combined in Circa Million V or Circa Survivor: Complimentary three-night hotel stay at The D or Golden Gate, with the option to upgrade to Circa for an additional charge.



• Five to nine entries in Circa Million V or Circa Survivor: Casino room rate at Circa, The D or Golden Gate for up to three nights.


• One to four entries in Circa Million V or Circa Survivor: Casino room rate at Circa, The D or Golden Gate for one night.

Ultimate Contest Weekend is open to all entrants of the Circa Million V and Circa Survivor contests. All contestants can participate in the events from 24-26 August. About Circa Million V:
Circa Million V will deliver $6 million guaranteed in total prizes, with a $1 million first place prize that comes with a coveted Circa Sports blue jacket. The contest has no rake, and any extra fees go into the quarter- and full-season prize pools.

$3.65 million will be allocated amongst places two through 100 and $300,000 of prizes per quarter will be awarded every four to five weeks. The last place booby prize winner will receive $100,000 and second-to-last place booby prize winner will receive $50,000.

Each player will make five professional football picks against the spread each week via the Circa Sports Nevada mobile app or in person at a Nevada Circa Sports location. One point will be awarded for each correct selection and one-half point for each push. Each entry for Circa Million V is $1,000, with a maximum of five entries per person. All entrants also will receive a Circa Million V hat.

Full season cash prizes will be awarded to the top 100 places, the last place and second-to-last place. Each quarter cash prizes will be awarded to the top five places and the last place score.
Contest point spreads will be posted every Thursday around 10 a.m. PST, with selections due by 4 p.m. Saturday. During Thanksgiving week, point spreads will be posted at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

About Circa Survivor:
Circa Survivor returns with a payout of $8 million for the last entry standing. The contest has no rake, so the last remaining entry wins the entire Circa Survivor pool of $8 million guaranteed, plus more if entries exceed this amount.

Circa Survivor will consist of up to 20 legs throughout the year, one for every week of the football season plus two special weeks. Each week, participants will choose a team to win straight up, but the player cannot pick the same team twice for the duration of the season. Thanksgiving/Black Friday and Christmas Day will each be considered their own contest weeks.

Entries are $1,000 each, with a maximum of 10 entries per participant. An entrant can purchase up to 10 additional entries if they lose their original entries on the opening Thursday night game. An entrant cannot go into the Saturday deadline with more than 10 active entries. All entrants will also receive a Circa Survivor hat.

Entries are eliminated from the contest by selecting a team that subsequently loses or ties its game that week. If more than one entry remains after 20 legs, the pool will be split equally amongst all the entries that successfully submitted a selection during the leg.

During the season, picks are due at 4 p.m. PST every Saturday or before kickoff for the selected game. For Thanksgiving/Black Friday, picks are due by 10 p.m. PST the preceding Wednesday night. For Christmas Day, picks are due by 9 a.m. PST on Monday, 25 December.
