Churchill Leads Fundraising for Disabled Jockeys

LOUISIANA – As reported by the Business First: "A group of racetrack owners and Thoroughbred racing organizations have joined with the Jockey's Guild to lead a campaign to raise $1 million for disabled jockeys.
"The campaign aims to raise the funds, which will help about 60 disabled jockeys with health care and daily living expenses, by June 15, according to a news release.
"The campaign will provide temporary funds while the horseracing industry tries to determine long-term health care solutions for disabled riders…"
