Churchill files lawuit against Daily Racing Form

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky -- Churchill Downs has filed a lawsuit against the Daily Racing Form over bets the paper accepted, according to the Courier-Journal.

The paper's online betting site accepted wagers on the Kentucky Derby, the report said.

A federal law obligates racetracks to provide permission for off-track betting, the Courier-Journal report explained.
