Churchill Downs signs promo deal

KENTUCKY -- As reported by the Business First of Louisville: "Churchill Downs Inc. has signed a promotional deal with filmmaker brothers John and Brad Hennegan, who are about to release a new documentary about the Kentucky Derby.
"'The First Saturday in May' will be released in 18 major U.S. cities starting Thursday, April 18. The film chronicles the journey of six trainers and jockeys on the road to the 2006 Kentucky Derby. The film also features never-before-seen footage of a young Barbaro, the winner of the 2006 Derby, according to a news release.
"Churchill Downs Inc.'s new 'Kentucky Derby Party' Web site will be promoted through the film's trailers and screenings..."
