Churchill Downs offers luxury packages
KENTUCKY – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Taking a cue from other major sporting events, Churchill Downs is offering a limited number of 2007 Kentucky Derby "experience packages" to the general public.
The packages include Kentucky Derby and Oaks tickets in exclusive seating areas and amenities not normally available to the public, such as tickets to the annual Barnstable Brown Party and a tour of the Churchill Downs stable area on Oaks morning.
A total of 22 packages are available at costs ranging from $4,000 to $25,000. There are three experience levels: Win, Place and Show.
The "Win" package includes two tickets to a table on Millionaires' Row for the Derby and Oaks, including catering; hotel accommodations; limousine service; an on-site parking pass; two tickets to the Barnstable Brown Party; two tickets to the Kentucky Derby Winners' Party; two tickets to the press party; and a tour of the stable area during workouts on Kentucky Oaks morning.
The "Place" package includes two tickets to a third-floor clubhouse box for Derby and Oaks; hotel accommodations; limousine service; an on-site parking pass; two tickets to the Kentucky Derby Winners' Party; and two tickets to the press party.
The "Show" package includes two tickets to a first-floor clubhouse box for the Derby and Oaks; an on-site parking pass; two tickets to the Derby post position draw; and two tickets to the press party.
