Chinese restaurant manager takes away almost £82k from free bet

(PRESS RELEASE) -- A CHINESE restaurant owner in Dunstable has started 2015 with a bang after winning £81,611.20 from a free bet with Ladbrokes Plc.

With Chinese New Year celebrations finishing less than a week ago the football fan may have already made 2015 one to remember after using £110 worth of free bets on the bold 13-fold accumulator.

Wins for Juventus and Barcelona were predicted by the Dragon City Chinese restaurant chief while high-flyers in the Championship, League One and Conference also made the cut to land the bet on a night when seven of the top eight in English football's second tier won, and only one game in 19 in the country ended in a draw.

Speaking to Ladbrokes the customer in his 50s who wished to remain anonymous, said: "This is the first time I've won big; all I did is picked the teams I like. I'm going to celebrate by going to Hong Kong, maybe I'll try my luck at the races there. I definitely think I won thanks to the New Year luck!"

He also chuckled while adding: "Maybe I'll win like this again soon, or even twice!"
