Cherokee Poker Classic returns May 13 with $70,000 guarantee

The poker tournament, held in the private poker room, brings $70,000 guaranteed in winnings. The fifth annual tournament runs through May 22 and is a 22-event series, with buy-ins ranging from $50 to $330.
The no-limit Hold'em events on May 13 and 14 each assure a $10,000 prize pool, followed by events on May 15 and 17 each guaranteeing $5,000.
The Main Event will be held May 20-22, promising players at least a $40,000 prize pool.
A total of 10 Mega Satellite games will be offered, with players earning seats to the Main Event.
Poker players are eligible for a $79 hotel stay rate by using code 2016 at check-in. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the tournament.
