Channel 1 Games Joins iGGBA

UK -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- iGGBA is delighted to announce that Channel 1 Games has joined its ranks and become the most recent of iGGBA's growing membership. Channel 1 Games, part of the Games Media Group, is a new company and specialises in content development and publishing for a range of games and gaming platforms.

Channel 1's involvement further strengthens the IGGBA membership which has grown from 10 founding members to over 48 today. This will reinforce the position of iGGBA as the primary body for dealing with remote gambling issues in the UK and the rest of Europe.

Steve Murray of Channel 1 Games said that "the company has joined iGGBA because it feels that iGGBA represents its membership consistently well, not only in regards to the upcoming legislative changes in the UK remote gambling sector, but also in terms of holding a watching eye over relevant legislative changes in the EU".

"I am pleased to welcome Channel 1 Games as a member of the Association, their undoubted expertise in this new and innovative area will assist us in our deliberations on regulation, tax and other critical issues being decided in the UK and in Brussels", stated Andrew Tottenham, Chairman of iGGBA.
