Las Vegas-based CG Technology announced an agreement Monday that will license the company’s sports wagering products with one of Mexico’s leading casino operators.

The transaction is CG Technology’s first licensing agreement in Latin America. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the agreement, CG Technology will provide its sports book system — which includes mobile sports wagering, back-end account management and wallet functions — at eight Mexican casinos operated by the Logrand Group.

The deal covers Jubilee Casino in Monterrey, Nuevo León, which is Mexico’s largest casino, and seven other casinos operated by Logrand Group throughout the country.

In a statement, CG Technology said it is exploring additional race and sports book expansion opportunities internationally.

CG Technology CEO Lee Amaitis said Latin America, “a region we have long seen inherent value in and it underscores our dedication to international expansion.”

CG Technology says its collects more than 25 percent of Nevada’s sports wagering business through its sports book operations at eight casinos, including the Venetian, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Palms and M Resort.
