Castelluccio takes top spot in Bluff European rankings
1 Jun 2012
The European circuit takes a break from big high buy-in events a few months for the WSOP, but there are still rankings points up for grabs in smaller events while the top pros are away in Vegas. From 3rd to 10th June the Grosvenor U.K. Poker Tour takes a wrong turn at Thanet and ends up in Belgium this month, in Blankenberge, a seaside town north of Bruges. You can qualify on G Casino Poker by playing feeders and satellites into a weekly four-seat guaranteed super satellite. The structure provides all bankrolls opportunities to qualify, starting with freerolls and buy-ins as low as £0.25.
Next the Mega Poker Series stops by Madrid for a €700+70 main event. Satellites run exclusively at Poker770.com where every Sunday you can take part in a €80+€8 super satellite and win a package worth €1,600. There are also daily qualifiers from just €0.24.
Then season five of France’s premier national tour, the Partouche Poker Tour, arrives in Normandy at the end of the month for a €1,250 NLH event, kicking off on 30th June. Satellites are running at the Grand Casino de Forges-les-Eaux from 28th June, and online for French players at Partouche.fr.
The rankings are calculated using the amount of runners and the tournament buy-in as multipliers. This formula is designed to reward solid, consistent play, with no massive jumps for first place.
