Everygame Casino Red is enticing more players yet again with a bonus spins offer on a new Penguin Palooza slot. Before we dissect the details of the online casino’s offer, we have a few other top stories to tackle. A Florida casino paid out over $1 million to a lucky slot player, a horse racing bettor at Mohegan Sun nailed a superfecta bet on the Kentucky Derby, Las Vegas gets ready for Memorial Day Weekend, and MGM Resorts completes an acquisition on a Las Vegas Strip resort.

5. Everygame Casino adds Penguin Palooza to portfolio
The new Penguin Palooza slot game from Realtime Gaming is now available at Everygame Casino Red.

Until 15 June, the casino is offering an up to $5,000 introductory bonus that includes 50 bonus spins. Players can deposit as little as $20 to qualify for this bonus.

The regular scatter is an igloo. As in many games, three scatters trigger the bonus spins round. In this game, Bonus Spin wins are multiplied up to 5x.

But this new game also has a locking scatter, a baby emperor penguin. The locking scatter with respins feature is triggered when two or more locking scatter symbols appear on the first four reels.

4. Massive Kentucky Derby win at Mohegan Sun
Tomorrow is the Preakness Stakes and Kentucky Derby long-shot winner Rich Strike will not be running, so there will be no Triple Crown winner this year. Before the race gets underway tomorrow, we still have some highlights from the Kentucky Derby on 7 May.

On Saturday, 7 May from the Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook in Connecticut, two guests combined for huge winning tickets on Kentucky Derby wagers.

The first was a successful superfecta, where a player correctly picked the first four finishers in sequence in the Kentucky Derby, winning $321,500 off a $1.00 wager in the process.

Another player at Mohegan Sun’s Derby Day party placed 50 cents on a Pick 5 bet and scored $247,215. Rich Strike, who had 80-to-1 odds to win, took home the Kentucky Derby crown.

“We saw two of the biggest horse racing wins ever at Mohegan Sun on Saturday and we congratulate the two players that placed these incredible wagers,” said Brad Bryant, General Manager of Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook. “We also had numerous guests win big by picking the Kentucky Derby winner, Rich Strike. It was a thrilling day at the sportsbook, and we are excited to have many more like it.”

3. Seminole Casino Coconut Creek awards seven-figure slot jackpot
A lucky winner hit a jackpot of over $1 million with a $25 bet at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in Florida.

The guest was playing the Aristocrat Dragon Link Panda Magic slot machine on Sunday, 15 May when they won $1,168,274. After the win, the progressive jackpot was reset to $1 million.

2. Memorial Day Weekend set for big parties in Las Vegas
Considered the unofficial start of summer, Memorial Day Weekend is always a thrilling time to visit Las Vegas. Whether splashing under the sun at a day club, dancing the night away at a top-notch nightclub, or enjoying the destination’s very best entertainment, Vegas is the place to be.

AZILO Ultra Pool at SAHARA Las Vegas presents a Memorial Day Weekend Party on Saturday, May 28 featuring Jay Sean as the event’s celebrity guest DJ. The event at the Las Vegas resort also features a cocktail tasting and a cornhole contest with prizes.

The tiered, three-pool Encore Beach Club at Wynn Las Vegas, complete with cabanas and daybeds for total poolside comfort, presents a lineup of EDM artists throughout the weekend. Attendees can party to the beats of Kim Lee (Friday, 27 May), David Guetta (Saturday, 28 May), and The Chainsmokers (Sunday, 29 May).

E11EVEN Miami is taking over Ayu Day Club at Resorts World Las Vegas throughout the holiday weekend, bringing a lineup of EDM artists to the Strip’s newest outdoor oasis. Revelers will enjoy performances by Cash Cash (Friday, 27 May), Zedd (Saturday, 28 May) and DJ Snake (Sunday, 29 May).

1. MGM Resorts completes acquisition of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
