4. Paddy Power player wins £4.3 million jackpot
Imagine playing a slot and seeing that you’ve won a life-changing amount of money. Well, for one lucky online player, that happened earlier this month.
Sean Doyle, a 33-year-old chef from Northern Ireland, was playing Mars Attacks! by Blueprint Gaming at Paddy Power Casino on 13 February when he hit the £4.3 million payday. The slot game is part of the provider’s Jackpot King Deluxe system.
Mike Phelan, commercial director at Paddy Power Gaming, said, “This sums up why Blueprint Gaming’s progressive jackpot system is a key component of our games offering. Jackpot King allows our players to win staggering amounts of money at the spin of a reel, while also raising excitement levels and delivering increased revenues. We’re thrilled that Sean has walked away with the jackpot and hope he has as much fun spending the prize as he did playing the game!”

The free spins will be available to players 24-48 hours after their deposit.

1. Caesars Entertainment and DraftKings agree to multi-state deal
Caesars Entertainment and DraftKings have reached a deal under which Caesars will offer DraftKings market access for its online gaming products. This access is exclusive to Caesars across states in which Caesars operates casino properties.
"Caesars' agreement with DraftKings, their first multi-state partnership, brings together the established leaders in gaming, daily fantasy sports and sports betting to provide customers more options," said Mark Frissora, President and CEO of Caesars Entertainment. "This alliance is the latest initiative by Caesars to capitalize on our database, generate a new revenue stream in a growth market and raise our profile in sports, in part by creating new sports-themed guest experiences at our resorts across the country."
Since they were first to market in New Jersey with the launch of DraftKings Sportsbook in August 2018, DraftKings has led the state in mobile sports betting revenue every month. In January 2019 mobile sports betting accounted for nearly 80% of the total sports betting revenue in New Jersey.
DraftKings will promote Caesars Entertainment as its official casino resort partner in the states where the companies collaborate, and Caesars Entertainment will receive DraftKings equity.

Caesars Entertainment also announced an agreement today with Carl C. Icahn regarding the membership and composition of the company’s Board of Directors.
Under the terms of the agreement, Keith Cozza, Courtney Mather and James Nelson are being appointed to Caesars' Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Carl Icahn commented, "I believe the best path forward for Caesars requires a thorough strategic process to sell or merge the company to further develop its already strong regional presence, which will allow Caesars to continue to take advantage of the Caesars Rewards program bringing more and more players into Caesars' Vegas market. I expect this to make Caesars the most powerful competitor in Vegas, the gaming capital of the world. Caesars would be a great opportunity for certain investors who have already expressed interest, and I'm glad the Board will explore these opportunities. Independent of strategic alternatives, I believe Caesars should also be focused on leadership succession, disciplined capital allocation, improving operating performance and optimizing real estate and other assets."
