5. Mohegan Sun guest wins $484,268
A Mohegan Sun guest struck it big on a jackpot. On 28 March, a Monopoly Cash Wheel Blazing 777 Triple Double Jackpot Wild slot machine, located in the Connecticut casino, sent the guest home with $484,268.
The guest was playing $5 per spin when they spun three Monopoly Jackpot symbols on line five, which triggered the progressive jackpot.

4. Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage expanding gaming floor
Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage in California announced an on-property gaming expansion: 12,000 square feet of additional casino gaming space with hundreds of additional slot machines.
With this gaming floor expansion comes many new slot titles that are currently exclusive to Agua Caliente Casinos in the Coachella Valley, including Ultimate Fire Link Triple Nova, Huff and Extra Puff, Hot Hot Double Blazing Lock, Red Hot Jackpots, Bang Bam Boom, Miner’s Dream, and more.
With this expansion, Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage offers over 89,000 square feet of gaming, which includes 42 table games, two high-limit rooms (slots and table games), and the only poker room in the Coachella Valley.
3. Ksa intensifies crackdown on illegal gambling
The Dutch Gaming Authority has removed 20 apps since the beginning of 2025.
These apps often redirect users to illegal gambling websites, sometimes with misleading logos of legal providers. They are also often aimed at minors.
Ksa is focusing on removing harmful apps and ensuring licensed operators adhere to strict regulations while addressing customer service issues and combating misleading promotions.
2. Michigan Gaming Control Board acts on 13 more illegal websites
Meanwhile in the U.S., the Michigan Gaming Control Board sent cease-and-desist letters to 13 illegal offshore gambling websites, which were found to be unlawfully targeting Michigan residents.
The websites in question — Captain Jack Casino, Casino Brango, Ducky Luck Casino, El Royale Casino, Jazz Casino, Jazz Sports Casino Racebook, Looselines, Planet 7 Casino, Red Dog Casino, Royal Oak Casino, Silver Oak Casino, Skybook, and Slots of Vegas — were operating without proper state licenses, in clear violation of Michigan law.
The operators of these sites are based in various jurisdictions including Curaçao, Costa Rica, and the Autonomous Island of Anjouan.
1. Wind Creek Chicago Southland opens its doors today
Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino & Resort announced that its full resort experience—including its hotel and spa—officially opened to the public today.
The new resort destination offers a 70,000-square-foot casino with over 1,400 slot machines, 56 table games, a poker room, sportsbook (coming soon), and high-limit salons.
