Casino City’s Friday Five: Bingo, free bets and sports betting edition
We'll start with bingo:
5. Boulder Station announces plans for new Bingo Room
Later this year, guests will be able to enjoy a newly renovated bingo room at Boulder Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. It will mirror Station Casinos’ newest evolution of bingo rooms that offer a modern, exciting and luxurious yet approachable design, with an enclosed smoking section, recently unveiled at Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino and Palace Station Hotel and Casino.
To make way for this renovation, current bingo operations will be temporarily relocated to the Railhead beginning 15 August. The Las Vegas casino is going to be offering a promotion at the Railhead where guests who enjoy bingo on opening day inside the Railhead will receive three times the winnings on any bingo game they win.

4. Evolution to power Hard Rock Atlantic City Live Casino
Less than two months after Hard Rock Hotel & Casino – Atlantic City underwent a $500 million transformation and opened on 28 June, the new property will launch its Live Casino by the end of the summer.
Games in the bingo room will include American (Double Zero) Roulette, Blackjack with side bets and Bet Behind, Baccarat, Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold’em Poker, plus automated Slingshot Roulette all from Evolution Gaming.
In addition, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will launch three dedicated Evolution Live Blackjack tables that will be exclusive to their own players and will also host an Evolution Dual Play Roulette table on their main gaming floor. The Dual Play Roulette table will also be made available to Evolution’s European network of operators, allowing their players to place their bets at this Hard Rock table.

3. Two Boyd Gaming casinos to use IGT’s sports betting technology
Guests at Mississippi’s IP Casino Resort and Spa and Sam's Town Tunica Hotel & Gambling Hall can now place pre-game and in-progress sports bets over the counter through IGT’s sports betting technology.
The two Mississippi casinos also plan to leverage IGT's self-service kiosks and other sports betting technologies in the future.
This is the kind of action that prompted Casino City's Gary Trask to predict back in May that Mississippi could very well become "Vegas South" with the proliferation of legal sports betting.
Big day in Mississippi today as @BeauBiloxi and @GoldStrikeMGM began accepting sports wagers, opening the door for the state to become “Vegas South,” as I wrote back in May. https://t.co/juTMTLWraE

1. DraftKings launches sportsbook in New Jersey
The world’s largest daily fantasy sports platform became the first company to offer legal online and mobile sports betting in New Jersey.
DraftKings leveraged its technology and knowledge across sports to bring its sportsbook product to market just a couple months after officially filing for a sports betting license with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Sports fans in New Jersey can now place their bets on the DraftKings Sportsbook app via iOS and Android or online.
Through its partnership with Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J., announced earlier this year, DraftKings can now offer sports fans in the Garden State the opportunity to place bets.
DraftKings is looking at expanding outside of New Jersey as well. Earlier this year, DraftKings announced it entered into an agreement to provide a physical sportsbook at the del Lago Resort & Casino located in Waterloo, N.Y., which enables both partners to create a mobile and online sports wagering option in the Empire State should legislation authorize online sports wagering.
These are the sports that you can now bet on with @DraftKings.
