Canadian lottery jackpot appeal dismissed

CANADA -- A man who missed purchasing a lottery ticket by seven seconds has lost his claim to part of the jackpot, Reuters reported.Joel Ifergan bought two tickets, but only one was registered through the terminal on time and it was the unregistered one which proved the winner, the report said.
The Supreme Court ruled that Ifergan was not entitled to a share of the $27m jackpot, according to Reuters.
