Canada: Union and MP call for legalization of single-game sports betting

WINDSOR, Ontario -- The CAW Union and Windsor-Tecumseh NDP MP are speaking out in support of the introduction of sports betting locally, the CBC reported.MP Joe Comartin has already spoken on the topic in parliament, the report said.
The call is for single-game sports betting to be legalized in Canada to capture some of the $2 billion Canadians spend annually on illegal sport betting and to create 150 jobs at Casino Windsor, CBC reported.
