Canada: Sports betting law will be voted on by Senate

ONTARIO, Canada -- Casino Windsor are hoping a sports betting bill that's about to be killed will yet find some oxygen, CBC News reported.

The bill C-290 was approved by MPs and now will be voted on by the Senate, the report said.

C-290 if approved would permit betting on single sporting events, CBC News reported.
