Camelot complains about games

UNITED KINGDOM -- As reported by the This is Money: "Camelot is complaining to gambling regulators over games that it says capitalise on the popularity of the National Lottery while giving nothing to good causes.

"...Camelot, which last week won preferred bidder status for the next licence, running until 2019, believes the lottery-style games run by bookmakers cost it about £430 million a year in lost sales.

"It says people who play the games would otherwise go to the Lottery and this could cost good causes almost £1bn billion from now until the London Olympics.
