California Lottery's New Year's Raffle winners named

ACRAMENTO, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Thanks to the California Lottery's New Year's Raffle game, five Raffle numbers are now worth $1 million after being drawn as grand prize winners! The New Year's Raffle gave players the best odds of winning a million bucks ever offered by a California Lottery game.

In addition to the five $1 million prizes, there are 50 winners of $10,000 each and, in honor of the New Year, 500 winners receive $2008 each!

Players can check their numbers in a variety of ways. All winning ticket numbers are available on the Lottery's website at calottery.com/rafflenumbers. Lottery players can also check their own tickets at the retailer location if a "Check-a-ticket" machine is available. Finally, retailers can also electronically scan a player's Raffle numbers to identify winning tickets.
