Cake Poker ready for busy October

30 Sep 2010

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In October, Cake Poker debuts its Two for the Money promotion, Punta Cana Poker Classic satellites continue and qualifiers for the 2011 Aussie Millions commence.

Debuting on October 1st and running for the entire month, Cake Poker will offer players a daily shot at their share of $1,000 through its Two for the Money multi-table promotion. One of the many advantages to playing poker online is the ability to play multiple tables at once. When players multi-table, they can play more hands at once, maximizing their enjoyment and potential profit. This promotion is the perfect opportunity for players of all skill levels to try their hand at multi-tabling.

For their chance at the cash, players must play a total of 100 real money hands across two or more tables. Each day players achieve this they will be awarded entry into a $1,000 kamikaze tournament. A kamikaze tournament is simple and fun; it requires no action by players as all hands are forced all-in every time, quickly wrapping up the tournament and awarding the prize pool. Players don't even need to be logged in to play the tournament and winnings are automatically credited. Thirty-one $1,000 Two for the Money kamikazes will be running, giving players thirty-one chances at their share of $1,000.

"This is why players of all skill levels can enjoy playing with Cake Poker" notes Cake Card Room Manager Lee Jones. "Two for the Money offers an added incentive to players already skilled at multi-tabling while encouraging newer players to give it a try".

Also in October, Cake Poker is offering its players the chance to take the ultimate poker holiday through its Punta Cana Poker Classic qualifiers. The Punta Cana Poker Classic guarantees US$250,000 and takes place November 10th to 14th on the majestic beaches of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Each Cake Punta Cana US$3,100 prize package includes buy-in to the US$1,000 + $100 main event, US$1,000 cash to help with travel expenses, four nights hotel accommodations at the luxurious Moon Palace Hotel and Casino plus shuttle service and all inclusive premium food and beverages. It also includes entry to the opening event, "Dominican Night", 50% discount on golf fees and discounts on spa packages.

Cake Poker is also pleased to offer its players a chance to compete in Aussie Millions, one of the world's most prestigious championships. Hosted by the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia, the Aussie Millions attracts an international field setting the stage for world class poker action spread over 17 days and 20 events. Cake Poker is offering players US$14,000 prize packages to this premier event from October 1st to December 19th. Each Cake Aussie Millions prize package includes buy-in to the AU$10,600 no-limit hold'em main event, a ten-night stay at the luxurious Crown Promenade plus US$2,500 cash to help with travel expenses.

Cake Card Room Manager Lee Jones notes, "With the weather turning cooler, we're all thinking about getting away to warm places. Punta Cana and Melbourne, Australia have great weather with fantastic poker action. A poker vacation where you can go snorkelling or experience the world Down Under – it's a beautiful thing."
