Caesars Sportsbook at Capital One Arena unveils expansion

(PRESS RELEASE) -- On Wednesday, 12 October, Caesars Sportsbook at Capital One Arena in D.C. hosted a preview event for the Washington Capitals home opener against the Boston Bruins. The event was a celebration of new and exciting offerings the sportsbook has brought to the district and featured:

- The grand opening of the sportsbook’s new restaurant, Guy Fieri’s DC Kitchen + Bar, the celebrity chef’s first full-service restaurant in Washington, D.C.
- The debut of the first team-announced jersey patch in the history of the NHL.
- The expansion of the historic, first sportsbook opened in a U.S. professional sports venue now boasting 20 self-service sports betting kiosks (13 additional since opening in 2021), a brand-new entrance leading directly to the concourse of the arena, and more than 700 additional square feet added to the already 18,000-square-foot space.

Lastly, the day featured a visit from the Caesars Sportsbook & Casino Truck. The more than 1,000 square foot truck provided an elevated tailgate experience, special appearances by Caesars Sportsbook brand ambassadors Kenny Mayne & Trey Wingo, and demos of the recently technologically upgraded version of the Caesars Sportsbook app. Caesars Sportsbook is an official partner of Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE), the Washington Capitals, Wizards, and Mystics.
