We play games that we can’t beat. You know that. I know that. (Okay, some few advantage players might not know that.)

And you must avoid the third bet, called the “tie” bet too. The house edge on that bet is in the realm of the ridiculous. And skip all the “bonus” events while you’re at it as well. Can you do that? If so, have at it.
Roulette on the 0 and 00 wheel should not come in with more than 40 decisions. If you are stuck playing the triple zero game (0, 00, 000), then cut your betting level by one third. That will give you a loss you can handle – should you lose.
You can go through any game you play and work out how much you can afford to lose and start from there. Play every game and figure out what you can afford to lose and play only that amount. You might indeed find that structuring your betting based on your possible losses will serve you well.
Do you want to be super conservative? Okay, do this, figure out how many total bets you can make and do not bet a penny more than that.
If you figure that 100 bets are all you can make at roulette then keep your betting at that level. Do not make more than 100 bets. On the outside even-money wagers that 100 bets might be satisfying.
How you lose your money is, after all, up to you.
