Brobury Sports releases Tiger Woods odds

31 Mar 2010

(PRESS RELEASE) -- How many major tournaments will Tiger Woods win this year?

No Majors 10/11
One Major 7/4
Two Majors 4/1
Three Majors 10/1
Grand Slam 25/1

Online gaming site Brobury Sports is offering these odds in advance of the first major of the year, The Masters starting April 8 from Augusta, Georgia.

'Tiger Woods is the King of Golf, but even he hasn't won more than one major in a year since 2006,' said Managing Director Chris Brobury.

Woods has 14 major tournament wins, in breathing distance of the record 18 set by the legendary Jack Nicklaus. It looked like only a matter of time before the record was broken until Woods' sex scandal hit.

The scandal includes almost daily breaking news with salacious details. Woods will hold a full press conference with the media on April 5, trying to diffuse the situation a bit.

'Woods and Jesse James should have a contest to see who has more mistresses, but I might need to get my calculator first,' continued Brobury. "Still, if Woods wins The Masters under this amount of pressure, he's clearly the greatest golfer of all-time.'

BroburySports has Masters odds available right now, with Woods still the heavy 7/2 favorite to win. Phil Mickelson (9/1) is the only other golfer under 10/1 odds.
