Brennan to speak at ICE in London

19 Jan 2011

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The impending regulation of online gambling in New Jersey (NJ) is set to dominate proceedings when Joe Brennan Jr, Chairman of iMEGA and Bill Pascrell III, Partner at the Princeton Public Affairs Group, take to the stage for a question and answer session at this year's ICE Totally Gaming expo at London's Earl's Court arena.

The two men have been vocal supporters (and lobbyists on behalf) of New Jersey's Intra-State Internet Gambling bill that now sits on the desk of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie to be signed into law or vetoed within the permitted 45-day period from its approval from the NJ Senate.

iGaming Business and Bluff Europe magazine Editor-in-Chief, Michael Caselli, who will be moderating the Q&A session at ICE, says that progress in New Jersey has been the perfect way for the industry to begin 2011. "The possibility of a regulated iGaming market in the US within the coming weeks has buoyed the industry as we enter the New Year and has filled all involved with fresh enthusiasm for the longer-term viability of US gaming," he said.

"The session at ICE will provide a fascinating insight into the components at work behind the passage of this bill, and the likelihood of its passage into law. Both Joe and Bill have been immense in their support of legalised iGaming in the state of New Jersey and it will be of great interest to gauge their perspectives."
