Boylepoker expands International Poker Open satellite schedule

8 Aug 2012

DUNDALK, Ireland -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Boylepoker today expands its International Poker Open super satellite schedule to seven days per week.

Players can now qualify for the IPO on Wednesday and Saturday at 8 p.m. as well as each Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. in the daily €20+€2 super satellite.

Each daily super satellite guarantees a minimum of one IPO seat worth €230 and players can win their way into these super satellites in a daily freeroll at 7 p.m. and in €5+€0.5 buy-in feeder satellites at 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. each day.

The Boylepoker.com International Poker Open takes place at the Regency Hotel, Dublin, Ireland from October 19 to 21. The €230 buy-in main event is one of Europe’s largest no-limit hold’em tournaments and attracts well over 1,000 players from across Europe.

Ciaran Corbett, poker manager at Boylepoker.com, said, “We’re now offering seven opportunities a week to players to qualify for the IPO from as little as absolutely nothing! And with €20,000 added to the prize pool it’s a gilt-edged chance for players to give their bankrolls a real shot in the arm.”

This year the company is adding €20,000 to the prize pool for players who take part in its Extra Cash promotion, in which players who earn a total of 350 loyalty points at Boylepoker.com in two single months by October can win an extra €1,000 at the IPO.

Players can also qualify for the tournament by earning 1,000 iPoints in a single month between June and September.

Last year the IPO was won by Dutchman Luke Maartens, who topped the 1,388-strong field to take down the €51,350 top prize.
