Boston track to discuss casino transportation plan

The Assciated Press reports that the owners of Suffolk Downs will be outlining for nearby residents their plans to upgrade local roadways if a resort casino is built at the racetrack.

According to the AP report, Suffolk Downs has promised to invest $40 million to improve traffic flow on Route 1A and other roadways in the heavily congested area if the proposal put forward by Suffolk Downs and partner Caesars Entertainment Inc. for a $1 billion casino resort is approved by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
