UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by LAUNCH Media: "Less than two months after complaining that he should be knighted, Rod Stewart was given good odds by London bookies to become 'Sir Rod Stewart' in 2004.
"…[The Sun has reported] that the betting company William Hill has offered 7-1 odds on the 58-year-old rocker being knighted next year, after receiving a flurry of small bets on the subject.
"Graham Sharpe, a spokesman for William Hill, said, 'There are lots of people who think it's about time Rod was knighted, including himself.'…"
