Bodog strengthens IT team in time for "betting's biggest summer"

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The gaming industry is bracing itself for a huge Summer of sport which will see the World Cup, two golf Majors, the World Series of Poker, Wimbledon and the start of both the European soccer seasons as well as the NFL.

Inevitably, the biggest challenge for the industry is ensuring their systems are as robust as possible, not just to handle the additional traffic but also to offer customers the increased level of speed and service they now expect. To that end Bodog has hired a raft of top-notch IT specialists with a huge amount of industry experience including:

Tom Hamilton: Global Director of Architecture. Tom has worked with some of the biggest names in the banking sector including JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank as well as gaming experience with IG Index.

Simon Tarling: Program Delivery Manager. Simon has 30 plus years of experience in the IT and technology industry, with 4-years’ experience with LVS and a further two years with Wagerlogic and Amaya.

Clive Hibberd: Head of Product Development, Sports. Clive was a past Managing Director at LVS and has extensive experience in high transaction-rate systems, online payment processing and games development.
