Bodog expands Chinese presence
"Stanley Ho, watch out. Bodog wants to be known as the Macau of the online world. With the best games, top customer service and the innovation to bring the most exciting entertainment to our Chinese customers, they don't need to look to Macau or Las Vegas. We bring the excitement to them," said Calvin Ayre. "2008 is a big year for the Chinese and Bodog. We want our Chinese customers to know that Bodog has the same Beijing Olympic spirit to achieve the best."
Bodog has taken aim at the lucrative worldwide Chinese market by recently establishing a Chinese language customer service phone line (1-888-988-6828). Now, Bodog is launching a Chinese ad campaign and web landing page. The web page provides an introduction and welcome for Chinese-speaking customers and directs them to Bodog's Chinese-language customer service line, with service available in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
Bodog's Chinese language ad campaign, which will run in Chinese-language print and online media, will feature Chinese-Canadian, Toronto-born, Team Bodog poker player Evelyn Ng.
Bodog Entertainment proudly offers a host of entertainment properties, including the production of a mixed martial arts competition television series, Bodog Fight; a free play fantasy sports site, Bodog Fantasy; an international record label, Bodog Music; an international band-search competition, Bodog Battle; a publishing division, with an online magazine and a blog; and, of course, its market-leading, world famous gaming property at BodogLife.com.
