Bodog.com Wins eGaming Marketing Award
eGaming Review, widely recognized as the industry bible, had nominated Bodog for five awards, the most of any operator. For the past two years, Bodog.com has been named to the magazine's Power list and was called the "most innovative site in the US egaming space."
Following the ceremonies on Friday, Bodog.com Founder and CEO Calvin Ayre said, "eGaming Review magazine has been one of my primary sources for keeping up to date on some of the issues and challenges facing our industry. For this reason, I am thrilled to have been invited to be a part of the inaugural eGaming Review Industry Awards here in London. I am equally excited and honored to accept the award for Best Online Marketing Campaign of the Year."
Speaking about the award specifically, Ayre added, "In terms of its online marketing campaign, Bodog.com has moved toward a lifestyle and inspiration-focused message instead of a message pinned on benefits and bonuses. This has worked well for Bodog.com and allowed us to effectively target our demographic."
At the gala, Bodog.com was a lead sponsor and it demonstrated the reasons why it captured the award. Its name and logo were displayed prominently, making its brand the most visible on this prestigious night.
The award is another indication that Bodog.com is revolutionizing the online gaming industry while becoming a digital and entertainment powerhouse. Earlier this year, industry leaders were brought together at the Bodog.com Poker and Sports Marketing Conference in Las Vegas. The conference attracted the top names in online sports betting and poker, including the major online gamblíng operators, handicappers, affiliates, media and suppliers. Speakers included Daniel Negreanu, Mike Ditka and Reggie Jackson.
