"The popularity of entertainment odds has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years and award shows have always been a big draw," said Calvin Ayre, Bodog.com Founder. "The Academy Awards in particular are always a fan favorite. The Oscars are considered by many to be the pinnacle of the award show season, and even being nominated for one of the prestigious awards, let alone winning one, can do wonders for any movie."

Though many of the Academy Award categories are considered to be in tight competition, one in particular stands out above the rest: "Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role." The Best Actress Oscar is the single most competitive category, pitting critically acclaimed and world-renowned actresses Helen Mirren, Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet and Judi Dench against two-time winner Meryl Streep. Mirren heads into the Oscars as the odds-on favorite after winning the Golden Globe award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama).
On the opposite side of the spectrum sits the 2006 Razzie for "Worst Director", which pits such legends of directing as Uwe Boll, M. Night Shyamalan and Keenan Ivory Wayans against one another. However, unlike the Academy Award for Best Actress, the "Worst Director" Razzie has a clear favorite in Boll, who's best known for directing/producing such box-office flops as "BloodRayne" and "House of the Dead." At 1/1 odds, Boll is the clear favorite to walk away with the "Worst Director" award on February 24.
