COSTA RICA – (PRESS RELEASE) -- With 10 weeks of action in the books, things are heating up around the NFL, and this weekend divisional and conference battles take center stage. Four games with serious playoff implications are set to take place as the sprint for the playoffs kicks off.

On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles (4-5) will play the New York Giants (6-3) in a heated NFC East battle. The Eagles, who are without injured quarterback Donovan McNabb and suspended receiver Terrell Owens, will need more than a sound defense to recover from the brutal 1-point loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night.

On the flip side, the Giants, who are coming off a home loss to the Minnesota Vikings, will look for solid play from quarterback Eli Manning and running back Tiki Barber to knock the Eagles further back in the playoff race.

Can the Cincinnati Bengals (7-2) beat a team with a 9-0 record? Absolutely. They've done it before. In 2003, the Kansas City Chiefs brought a 9-0 record into Cincinnati and left 9-1 after the Bengals handed them a 24-19 loss. This Sunday, Cincinnati hosts Peyton Manning and the 9-0 Indianapolis Colts, who are 5.5-point favorites in a game that features AFC leaders.

In the NFC South, quarterback Michael Vick and the Atlanta Falcons (6-3) are 6-point favorites as they visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-3).

Meanwhile, that division's leader, the Carolina Panthers (7-2), march into Soldier Field as 3-point favorites against the NFC North-leading Chicago Bears (6-3).
