Bingo Hall player wins cruise to the Caribbean

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Over the course of May, bingo players competed hard to see who would take home a sweet grand prize: a 9-day cruise for two in the Caribbean, with all top-of-the-line perks included. The fight was fierce, but Nebesna was our victor. We chatted with Nebesna, who hails from chilly Anchorage, Alaska, to discuss her win and her plans for the trip.

Nebesna let us know off the bat that she was beyond pleased to be the grand prize winner, saying, “I've been happy for the past two days, I've been dancing around, looking forward to hear some Caribbean music.” She has those island rhythms on the mind, as it will be her very first cruise and first ever trip to the Caribbean.

Nebesna laughed as she told us more about her excitement, noting that she hadn’t been on a big holiday since she went to Las Vegas in 2011. “I only got to Vegas and then I had to come home…I spent all my cash in Vegas!” Don’t we know that feeling! But Nebesna is a skilled player with great luck and she definitely can expect to be a front runner on the cruise, where she will be playing in the Bingo Bugle Championship. This will put her in the running to take the big $80,000 grand prize back to Alaska!

Nebesna loves Alaska, but said she would not be missing her home state while down in the Caribbean, observing that it will be dark and cold. She definitely loves Alaska and thinks that everyone who might be coming to visit should be sure to check out the amazing rustic landscape, especially “My mountains! Beautiful mountains! I love the mountains here!”

Our lucky lady is a longtime loyal Bingo Hall member with some favorite winning techniques. She confessed to “always picking 22 or 57 or 18... or 17. 17 is when my son went to state to play basketball, 22 was his jersey number, 57 was the year I was born.”

It seems only right that her companion on this trip of a lifetime will be her son!
