Big dice, little dice
Hey Frank:
I love your work.
I'm in the process of finishing your book Casino Craps: Shoot to Win! I have a question.
I've been practicing since August with the dice rig I built using some dice I bought at a liquor store. My girlfriend recently bought me some legit casino dice, which are much larger than the store-bought dice. When I first picked up the casino dice, my control seemed off the charts.
So I was just wondering if you think training with the smaller dice gave me a greater feel for the casino dice and would you recommend maybe training with both dice kind of like muscle confusion in weight training?
Steve
Dear Steve:
Casino dice are not all the same. You will find smaller and larger dice so your idea of practicing with both kinds is excellent. If you can control the smaller ones, you will find it much easier to control the larger ones since you have mastered a soft throw already.
Be careful, however, with those store-bought dice. If the pips are recessed, they are not the same as casino dice. You can buy real casino dice at http://www.goldentouchcraps.com/dice.shtml.
I am giving you a free 30-day subscription to my private members-only website at www.goldentouchcraps.com.

Enjoy!
All the best in and out of the casinos!
