The first company to accept wagers on the latest version of Canada's biggest talent search, BetWWTS.com has announced updated odds on who will be voted the next Canadian Idol.

Heading into the grand finale, Kalan Porter, continues to be the favorite to win the competition -- a position he has held from the time BetWWTS.com opened wagering in July. Since betting opened, the odds on Kalan winning have gone from 9/5 (i.e., win $9 for every $5 bet) to now being listed as an overwhelming favorite to win at 1/10 odds (i.e., win $1 for every $10 bet). Meanwhile, BetWWTS.com believes fellow finalist Theresa Sokyrka is fighting an uphill battle versus Kalan, listing her at 9/2 odds to become Canada's next pop idol.
