BetStars slashes odds on Randy Lew winning Platinum Pass
30 Apr 2018
The movement in the BetStars market comes after Lew’s seventh place finish in the €1,100 EPT National for €33,740 ($40,924), where a Platinum Pass to the PokerStars Players No-Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC) was also awarded to winner Guillaume Diaz. This is the second time Lew has come within touching distance of winning a Platinum Pass after finishing fifth in the APPT Korea Main Event earlier this month.
“I’m happy that I placed seventh in the first event I played in Monte Carlo, although I am disappointed that I did not win the Platinum Pass,” Randy said. “I had another chance during the flipout for Day 2 of the National Event and the Main Event but that didn’t work either. I’ve been playing great the past few series though and I like my chances of doing well again as I’m still in the Main Event with a solid stack. If I keep playing well, the Platinum Pass will eventually be mine!”
