BetOlimp launches live video streaming service
14 Jun 2016
The live 'in-play betting' companion video streaming service is thought to be the first of its kind. It provides on-demand video content presented by a real team of individual sports experts and statisticians who analyze in-play betting and cash-out opportunities along with match commentary for football punters' for all 51 Euro 2016 matches during the 90 minutes of the game.
The stream begins approximately 5 minutes before the scheduled Euro 2016 match kick-off time and ends when the final whistle is blown. The service is currently available in English and German respective language versions.
Mark McGuinness Chief Marketing Officer at BetOlimp, commented:
"We have all seen the explosive growth of real-time in-game video broadcasting on streaming platform Twitch, which has helped grow eSports. If you combine this with the fact that 74% of all internet traffic in 2017 is forecast to be video content along with 65% of video viewers, watch more than 3/4 of a video. Then include in-play and cash-out, the two most popular sports betting products, it's not rocket science to provide a video-based betting companion entertainment service to meet what punters' want."
Ian Holding, Director, and co-founder at ICS said:
"ICS specializes in the delivery of creative content solutions for the international gambling sector. In a landscape where it's hard to get your message across, video and entertainment led services can help you cut through and acquire and more importantly retain players on your betting platform. BetOlimp's punters have reacted well to our service that provides real-time and authentic in-play video based betting programming. Thus far our team of experts have advised of several 'winning in-play bets' and hopefully more to come. We are also hoping for an England v German final, as it will be interesting to see as our video service is available in both of those languages as to which of our teams of experts come out on top with their in-play betting predictions."
