BetMGM wins Digital Operator of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards

(PRESS RELEASE) -- BetMGM, a leading iGaming and sports betting operator, was named Digital Operator of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards. The Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas recognize the best in the gaming industry ahead of the Global Gaming Expo. BetMGM also was named Digital Operator of the Year in 2021.

The Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas reward the gaming industry's strongest performers across the previous 12 months, with a focus on the Americas. Independently adjudicated by KPMG, the prestigious Global Gaming Awards are powered by B2B publications Gambling Insider and Gaming America and are judged by a panel of more than 100 C-level industry executives.

BetMGM’s award submission touted its strong financial performance in FY2022 with $1.44 billion in net revenue surpassing its $1.3 billion projection. Factors that contributed to BetMGM’s growth include product improvements, reduced customer acquisition costs and a better bonus strategy. Over the past year, BetMGM launched sports betting in three states and Ontario. BetMGM was recognized for offering the nation's largest exclusive state-by-state in-house progressive jackpot network, a large variety of games, first- class partnerships and an omnichannel focus.

As BetMGM expands to new jurisdictions, responsible gaming education remains a key focus.
