Betfair runs WSOP UK qualifiers
UNITED KINGDOM -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The World Series Of Poker is coming to the UK and you could be there to. Betfair poker is still running qualifiers to the event.
The inaugural World Series Of Poker Europe consists of three events. The largest of these is the Main Event, a £10,000 buy-in, 750-player, six-day tournament spread over three casinos, with a prize pool of roughly £7.5 million. The winner could take home more than £1.5 million in cash.

The three WSOPE events effectively make up Events 56, 57 and 58 of WSOP 2007 with three official gold bracelets on offer for the winner of each event.
The WSOPE 2007 events:
* Event 56: Three day £2,500 ($5,000) HORSE tournament.
* Event 57: Three day £5,000 ($10,000) Pot-Limit Omaha tournament.
* Event 58: WSOP Europe Main Event, a six-day, £10,000 ($20,000) No-Limit Texas Holdem Championship.
Although the main event registration has only been open for a little over two weeks some of the biggest names in poker have already signed up, Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, Erik Seidel, Roland de Wolfe, John Juanda, Allen Cunningham, Todd Brunson, Eli Elezra, Howard Lederer, Humberto Brenes and Jennifer Harman to name but a few.
"There are over 60 WSOP bracelets between the pre-registrants so far," said World Series of Poker Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack. "The inaugural World Series Europe will have a world-class field."
Phil Hellmuth recently won his record breaking eleventh WSOP bracelet. In a statement to the press he said: "I'm going to London to make history again by winning the first WSOP bracelet ever awarded outside of Las Vegas."
