A transactional waiver grants operators the ability to engage in online gaming while their license applications are continuing to be reviewed by the Division of Gaming Enforcement.
Ahead of the launch date, New Jersey will conduct a five-day trial period beginning November 21, 2013. During this trial, people located in New Jersey will gain limited access to Betfair's online casino and poker service. Betfair has launched "LetsPlayNJ.com" as a key part of its awareness efforts to drive registration and trial of its service.
Paul La Fontaine, Betfair's Managing Director of Gaming, said. "We're pleased to be one of the pioneers bringing online casino games to the state of New Jersey."
Betfair is offering online gaming in New Jersey under an agreement with Trump Plaza Associates LLC, a New Jersey Internet Gambling permit holder.

The Exchange remains the company's differentiator in a competitive marketplace while it also operates an established casino and poker business across many European countries.
