bet365 retains FREEBETS.com title as money-back bookmaker of the month

(PRESS RELEASE) -- bet365 Sportsbook & Racebook scooped the FREEBETS.com award for the best money-back bookmaker during December, adding to its November title, and giving one of the world’s largest online oddsmakers a third crown since leading affiliate site and sports betting service FREEBETS.com started their market-leading analysis in May 2013.

The Stoke-based layer came up trumps ahead of William Hill Sportsbook & Racebook and Paddy Power Sportsbook with four promotions that counted as money-back offers. The firm’s popular Channel 4 Racing 4/1, Feature Race 4/1, Sky Dogs 2/1 and Bore Draw offers means there is a money-back promotion available every day of the year and thus the high frequency of offers gives punters exceptional value.

Of the 19 bookmakers used for this analysis, the top three in the rankings – bet365, William Hill and Paddy Power – remained unchanged from November.

But Paddy Power, three-time winners of the FREEBETS.com money-back bookmaker of the month, regained the award for individual offer of the month from bet365. The Irish company is well-known for their money-back specials and their offer of money-back if Olivier Giroud scored for Arsenal against Manchester City was rated the best value offer for bettors.

And Paddy Power dominated the top-10 with seven of their offers making the list – six of them relating to football. Their high money-back threshold of up to £100 is a major factor in Paddy Power’s success.

Ladbrokes’ offer of money-back if Phil Taylor, who was around an evens chance for PDC World Championship glory, won the tournament was rated the best money-back offer by chance but a maximum refund of £25 scuppered their chances of rating higher.

General findings from the FREEBETS.com report show the number of unique money-back offers fell to an all-time low of 69 in December. However, this didn’t result in a dramatic reduction of total offers available each day as Betway, Ladbrokes, 888sport, Stan James and Titanbet all increased the number and/or availability of money-back offers in December.

Overall, total bookmaker offers dropped from 732 in November to 681, but that’s still the third-highest total since the analysis began.
