Back in Action poker tournament at Bally's Las Vegas

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Bally's - Las Vegas today announced it will host the inaugural “Back in Action” poker tournament series, beginning Friday, 13 November to Sunday, 22 November. “Back in Action,” the first poker tournament to be hosted at Bally's Las Vegas in 2020, will offer both 1-day and 2-day events scheduled throughout the length of the series. The iconic Strip property welcomes players back with a 28-table capacity, with eight players separated by plexiglass dividers. The tournaments will be hosted in the recently reopened poker room and adjacent area of the casino floor to accommodate the event.

“With ‘Back in Action,’ we’re thrilled to bring back the energy and excitement that comes from live tournaments, while keeping the health and safety of our team members and players top of mind.” said Director of Poker at Bally’s Las Vegas, Ryan Bishop. “Poker players have been eagerly awaiting the return of a live poker tournament series with the appropriate health and safety protocols in place, and Bally’s Las Vegas is proud to deliver.”

A total of six 1-day tournaments with a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000 each will be held from Sunday, 15 November – Thursday, 19 November and again on Sunday, 22 November.

There are two 2-day tournaments scheduled, each having a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000. The first 2-day tournament begins on Friday, 13 November (flight A) and Saturday, 14 November (flight B) with two day-ones and will play down to a winner on Sunday, Nov.15. The second 2-day tournament begins on Friday, 20 November (flight A) and Saturday, 21 November (flight B) and will play down to a winner on Sunday, 22 November. All events start at 11 a.m. PST with registration open through the dinner break, roughly 7 p.m. PST.

  • All day-ones will play 20 levels or down to 15% of the field
  • Day two will play down to a winner
  • Player may forfeit their chips and re-enter during re-entry period
  • Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the tournament in part or in whole at their sole discretion
Registration for the “Back in Action” poker tournament series begins online at noon on Thursday, 12 November and in-person registration begins at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, 13 November. To register for the event on the website, players must have a BravoPokerLive.com account. With an account on BravoPokerLive.com, customers can visit the Bally’s Las Vegas Back in Action venue link to connect their Caesars Rewards account. Before tournament play begins, entrants will need to verify their registration with a valid photo ID and the credit card used to pay for registration at the poker room at Bally’s Las Vegas.

Bally’s Las Vegas has implemented Caesars Entertainment’s new health and safety protocols, which enhance its existing plans and practices in these areas. All Caesars properties are focused on the well-being of team members, guests and the community, and continue to work to create an environment with high standards of sanitization and physical distancing practices. Among the enhanced health and safety protocols include more frequent cleaning and sanitization. Caesars has also implemented a health screening program for all employees.
