Australia to crack down on illegal online poker

AUSTRALIA -- Following the US lead, Australia appears poised to similarly clamp down on online poker, The Courier-Mail reports.The Australian Crime Commission wants the government to charge online poker sites who skirt Australian legislation and ban their sites, the report explained.
No company has been charged under Australia's Interactive Gambling Act in the 10 years since it has been in place, The Courier-Mail report said.
